THE NEXTFIELD TAKEMake room for the story.
An exhibition has to work for someone moving through it. Layout, interpretation, accessibility, lighting, fabrication, and installation all meet in the same place. That makes it a useful direction for visual thinkers who want physical constraints in their work.
The work under pressure
Draft exhibit text, mood boards, preliminary concepts, and renderings can be assisted or generated. Concept-only roles are more exposed than delivering an installed environment.
The skills to lean into
Objects, venues, movement, fabrication, and the needs of real visitors create constraints that must be resolved on site and across teams.
Read the curriculum, not just the degree name.
Look for spatial design, visitor research, fabrication, accessible interpretation, lighting, and projects that culminate in a built installation.
