Film is a team sport with very different jobs. Editing a simple asset, recording a live performance, and directing a crew each involve a different mix of digital production and human coordination. A broad production education lets you explore those differences.
The work under pressure
Previsualization, synthetic footage, routine editing, and versions are exposed. Productions that can substitute generated scenes may require fewer physical shoots.
The skills to lean into
Live coverage, documentary access, directing actual people, on-set coordination, and recording specific events create needs beyond synthetic media.
Read the curriculum, not just the degree name.
